Fusilli – Authentic pasta shape

What better way to celebrate International Pasta Day with an authentic pasta shape from Southern Italy. We make the dough with just flour and water and then roll the dough around a “ferretto” or “ferro” rod to make the classic corkscrew shaped fusilli. When purchasing this class, you will receive your very own fusilli ferretto rod!

Pesto alla Trapanese

Yes, another way to make pesto! The Pesto alla Trapanese comes from Trapani in Sicily where almonds stand out as some of the most delicious in the world. For this pesto, we blend tomatoes, slivered almonds, Parmigiano-Reggiano (or any hard cheese), garlic, and olive oil to make a smooth and creamy sauce for any pasta dish. I think it compliments the homemade fusilli perfectly!
