Italian Cookie Class: Biscotti 2 Ways
These Italian cookies are simple, elegant, and classic. The biscotti, which means, “twice baked,” is perfect for dunking in coffee or alongside a dish of gelato. For these versions we will learn the basic biscotti recipe and then mix in our additions to create 2 new and delicious cookies. The beauty of this basic recipe is the ability to have fun with new and creative combinations.
The biscotti recipe uses eggs, butter, all-purpose flour and chocolate.
This class will be face-paced so you can experience making both types of biscotti. You will learn some general baking tips that can be applied to other recipes. Biscotti store well in the freezer for a month, so they can be made in advance for the holiday season or summer parties.
