Spaghetti in Seasonal Sauce, Panzanella, and Tiramisù

For this late summer class, the weather could be hot, so we will leave the oven for another day. Other than boiling water for the pasta noodles and brewing coffee for the Tiramisù, our kitchens will stay nice and cool.

I am so thirlled to bring you these three dishes. They are some of my favorite Italian gems; so simple, elegant, versitile, and beyond delicious. We will learn how to make the most out of your spaghetti noodles with a quick and seasonal sauce, we will make Panzanella, the Tuscan tomato salad, and for dolce, the classic Tiramisù. We will make the eggless version with cream and mascarpone.

Here’s how it works

Together, over Zoom, we will cook together. Once you register for the class, I will send you the complete recipe and equipment list so you can gather everything before class begins. Then, on the day of class, we will cook together, and I will take you through everything, step by step. By the end of class, you will have a delicious meal ready to enjoy. Invite friends, family, neighbors to join in the fun and to share the Italian dishes. If you prefer to just watch and learn, then cook later on your own, that is fine, too.

What you will need

In this class, we will make the most of packaged spaghetti noodles using garlic, peppers, olive oil and a seasonal green. For the tiramisù, we will use coffee, lady fingers, mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, and cocoa powder. Finally, the Panzanella will make use of the August tomatoes in season, croutons, red onion, garlic, balsamic vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, and fresh basil and thyme. I will send the exact recipe with specific quantities upon registration in the class.
